Meet Heather

Heather brings 20 years of experience in healthcare organizational strategy, systems improvement, quality work, and team leadership. After completing her Healthcare MBA in 2019, she supported strategic, operational, and improvement efforts at Hennepin Healthcare while leading three teams, before transitioning full time into her role at Crossover Physical Therapy. Heather believes that the real power of improvement comes from the people doing the work—Crossover PT’s greatest strength. “I have full confidence in this team. It gives me such joy to see what great ideas our staff have each day to make our patient’s experience the best one possible.”

Heather is married to Michael Simon, the owner of Crossover PT, and together they have built a strong partnership in shaping the clinic’s vision and expanding its impact in the community. They have 2 children together, Abigail and Emmett. Heather’s favorite activities revolve around her family. Heather especially enjoys the MN outdoors with her family including hiking and traveling to the North Shore. The Simon family is at the stage in life when after school activities keep you really busy.. Seeing her children grow in confidence each day gives her great joy. The family resides in the STMA community.
